Kids Save Lives-Kosovo 2022 consisted of a diverse team of highly trained healthcare professionals and medical student volunteers from Kosovo, United States, and UK who granted CPR
training and safe usage of Automated
External Defibrillators (AEDs) to 400 high school students from 26 different municipalities in 4 areas of Kosovo such as Prishtina, Mitrovica, Gjilan, and Istog from June 6-9th. This intensive program/project was made possible by the flawless organization of the Kosovo Security Forces delegated directly by the Minister of Defense Armend Mehaj.
Additionally, GIVE Foundation team scheduled several legislature amendment talks with Minister of Health (Prof. Dr. Rifat Latifi) and Ministry of Education where they presented two drafted bills regarding AED use by the general public and making CPR training a mandatory course in high school curriculum in order to create a new generation of life savers in Kosova.
